How to reset the administrator account password with Softaculous?

This article discusses how to change the password of the administrator account of your script installation, WordPress, for example, using Softaculous.

1. Log in to cPanel.

2. In the "Software" section, click on "Softaculous Apps Installer"..

   

3. On the "Softaculous" home page, click on the "All Installations" icon located in the top menu.
   

   

4. Find your website in the list of scripts and then click on the "Edit" icon.
   

   

5. On the "Edit Installation Details" page, scroll down to the "Administrator Account" section.
   
   
6. Enter the current username of your administrator account in the "Administrator Username" field.
   
   

7. Provide a new password in the "Administrator Password" box.

8. Once you have done this, scroll down and click the "Save installation details" button..

9. A confirmation page will appear, you can now try to log in to your administrator account with your new password!
