How do I upgrade the PHP version of my site?

If your website requires a different version of PHP, you must log into your cPanel to manage the site version.

MultiPHP Manager or PHP Version Selector

Depending on the version of cPanel you are using, you will use either MultiPHP Manager or PHP Version Selector to modify your PHP version. To determine which one you have, you will need to:

  1. Log in to cPanel
  2. Navigate to the Software section.

  3. Select Select PHP Version in the Software section.
  4. Select the current version to display the available versions.
  5. Select the desired version from the list of available versions.
  6. Once the version is selected, press "Apply"
  7. Upon completion the selected version will become the current version.
  8. The PHP version will be updated for your entire cPanel, so you should consider upgrading your installations to be compatible with the version you selected.
