A subdomain is an extension of the main domain, a subset of the domain. It is useful to organize your website, generate microsites or landing pages. Its structure is usually "subdomainname.yourdomain.com".
- Log in to cPanel .
- Go to the Domains section and click on Domains.
- Click on the Create A New Domain button.
- Type the subdomain name followed by the domain name separated by a dot, as shown in the image. To create press Submit.
- Wait a moment and Cpanel will show you a successful creation message.
Edit or delete your subdomains.
- To edit or delete your subdomains, just highlight the subdomain you want to work on and click Manage.
- From here you will be able to delete or edit your mail to update the location of the content folder or redirect the subdomain elsewhere.
