If we want to migrate our emails from one provider to another, we must use the file manager offered by cPanel. In this article we will learn how to migrate corporate emails from our cPanel.
- Log in to cPanel, both in the new cPanel and in the previous one from which we want to migrate..
- Locate the "Files" section and go to "File Manager".
- To migrate your emails, you must enter the "mail" folder, compress the folder with the name of your domain, for example "demo.com", and download the compressed file, always choose the ".zip" format.
- Once downloaded, we must reload the ".zip" file in our new cPanel, you can consult our article how to upload a file.
- We must unzip the ".zip." file in the folder of the same name, in this case "mail".
- We do the same process for the "etc" folder.
- Once the process is finished, we will be able to see our corporate emails in the "EMAIL" section.
Note: Remember that the files must be unzipped in the folder with the same name, if we compressed it in mail, we must unzip it in mail of our new cPanel, if you get confused and unzip it in the wrong folder, it can generate a serious error.
